We are always looking for enthusiastic students interested in joining our group. Areas of interest include:
- Ice stream dynamics
- Marine ice sheets
- Ice/ocean interactions
- Subglacial hydrology
- Icy moons in the solar system
- Multiphase fluid dynamics
- Viscous fluid dynamics

Postdocs
We currently have an opening for a postdoctoral researcher (2.5 years) to study the dynamics of the Lake Superior Lobe of the Laurentide ice sheet, which was a lake-terminating glacier subject to the same marine ice-sheet instability as modern day glaciers in the West Antarctic Ice Sheet. The goal of this project is to use a numerical ice sheet model to understand the chronology of retreat and re-advance of this lake-terminating glacier, which can be inferred from geophysical surveys. This project is part of a large collaboration bringing together researchers from a wide variety of backgrounds and institutions (press release here). If you are interested in joining this project, please email Marianne Haseloff.
